Does the Ruth House and Men's Shelter offer the same programs and services to residents in each of the shelters?
Yes. Ruth House offers similar programs as the Men's Shelter currently does. Residents are given Individaul Renewal Plans to help them overcome barriers and obstacles in their lives. Our goal for all residents is the same: to help them become productive members of society.

I want to volunteer at Hope Gospel Mission, but I don't have much time to give. Are there ways I can still be involved?
You don't have to have a lot of spare time to make a difference in the lives of the homeless. We can work with any schedule in order to help you connect to those that need your time and talents. It is easy to make a difference right here at Hope Gospel Mission. Check out our Volunteer Page for more information on current opportunitites.

How many beds does each shelter have?
Currently, our men's shelter has 40 beds and our womens shelter has 12 beds. Both facilities have a kitchen, dining area, bathrooms, laundry, and living rooms.

How many meals do you serve per year?
In 2007, we served over 16,000 meals to the poor and homeless of Western Wisconsin. We serve a hot meal to our residents every night of the week, every day of the month, 365 days a year. We rely on our volunteers entirely to provide these essential meals to our residents.
