Employment Opportunity at Ruth House Woman's Shelter - Background Hope Gospel Mission, a local non-profit focused on helping people with new starts, is hiring a Part-time weeknight resident manager with Part-time benefits for the Ruth House Woman’s Shelter. This position would be responsible for resident activities, security, and providing a nurturing environment for the women of the Ruth House over the weeknights. The ideal candidate would be a mature Christian who is patient, firm, kind, friendly, levelheaded and calm. Good judgment, organization and people skills are required. Experience in leadership or mentoring is desired. Duties Responsibilities would include interviewing potential residents and discerning whether or not they are a candidate for our program. The candidate would need to complete paperwork, have mentoring skills, drive residents to appointments or events, and interact with the residents.
