Greg Finds Hope and a New Beginning

Greg spent four long years on the streets, trapped in alcoholism and weighted down by pain from his past.  He had lost hope and couldn't see a way forward.  But everything began to change when a hospital connected him to Hope Gospel Mission--a place where he found compasssion, structure and the hope he though was gone forever.

When Greg arrived, he was ready for something different.  "I just didn't have anywhere else to go, and I wanted to make this work," he says.  During his stay here, Hope Gospel Mission gave him not only shelter and structure, but a new life in Christ.  "It led me to Christ.  I was reborn.  I'd tried everything else, and God was the only answer."

After graduating, Greg joined the staff at Hope Gospel Mission before starting a full-time job.  He's now engaged, reconnecting with his sons and living with a renewed sense of purpose.  "You save lives.  You restore lives.  Hope Gospel Mission builds better people.  It's life-changing."
